ECO3 FUNDING

ECO3 FUNDING NOW AVAiLABLE FOR HOME OWNERS AND TENANTs TO IMPROVE HOME ENERGY EFFICIENCY

What is the ECO4 Scheme?

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme is a government-backed initiative aimed at helping households across the UK improve their home’s energy efficiency. Running until March 2026, ECO4 focuses on supporting low-income and vulnerable households by offering funding for energy-saving upgrades—such as boiler replacements and heating control systems. The goal is to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions while creating warmer, healthier homes.

What’s Covered Under ECO4?

Through the ECO4 scheme, eligible customers can access grants for a range of improvements, including new energy-efficient boilers and heating controls. These upgrades improve comfort and help reduce your home’s carbon footprint and long-term energy costs.

Who is Eligible?

To qualify for ECO4 funding, you must be a homeowner or private tenant living in a property with a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating—typically E, F, or G. You will also need to be receiving certain income-related benefits such as Universal Credit, Income Support, or Housing Benefit. However, some households may qualify under the Local Authority Flexible Eligibility (LA Flex) scheme, which allows councils to identify vulnerable residents who would benefit from support, even if they don’t receive benefits.
